Richard Wakem

After 10 in the Royal Engineers leaving with the rank of Corporal, Richard started his financial services career in 1988 at Equity & Law which later became part of the AXA Group.

He worked in a variety of sales management, technical and advisory roles with AXA and in 2007 became Area Development Manager for Thinc as part of the AXA Group, working closely with advisers both locally and nationally.

Richard joined Buchanan & Associates Financial Planning Ltd in February 2008 in an advisory role. Richard has lengthy experience in all aspects of financial services including pensions, both individual and company pensions and investments and looks forward to being involved in the continuing growth of Buchanan & Associates Financial Planning Ltd where he now can focus on providing a local, personal, face to face advice service to his expanding client base.
